Alcamo

Just 15 minutes from the resort is Alcamo, a town of Arab and Norman origins, known for its medieval castles and numerous sacred buildings. From here it is easy to reach Alcamo Marina, with its sandy beaches, and the Bosco d'Alcamo Nature Reserve, ideal for green walks and coastal views.

Segesta

In the territory of Calatafimi-Segesta lies one of the most striking archaeological sites in Sicily: the Segesta Archaeological Park, with its imposing Doric temple (5th cent. B.C.) and ancient Greek theater (2nd cent. B.C.), still used today for classical performances. A short distance away, the Segestan Baths and the Bosco di AngimbΓ©, a fascinating nature reserve, are also worth a visit.

The Stagnone

A unique and bright landscape awaits you in the Stagnone Nature Reserve, along the coast of Marsala. Here, among salt pans, windmills and shallow waters, stretches a lagoon ideal for activities such as windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing. In the center are the small islands of Santa Maria, Schola, Isola Lunga and, above all, Mozia, an ancient Phoenician colony now home to a fascinating archaeological site and the Whitaker Museum, where the famous statue of the Young Man of Mozia is on display.

Erice

A true medieval jewel, Erice captivates with its cobblestone alleys, ancient walls and spectacular views. Among the must-see stops: the 14th-century cathedral, the Castle of Venus, the Church of San Martino and the Civic Museum. Also suggestive is the ascent to Erice Vetta by cable car, to enjoy breathtaking views. And for those with a sweet tooth, a stop at the village's historic pastry shops, guardians of ancient convent recipes, is not to be missed.

About 20-25 minutes away is Scopello, a charming seaside village known for its Old Tonnara and typical craft stores. Cave of Cusa

A few kilometers from Campobello di Mazara are the Cave di Cusa, an ancient quarrying site for the stone used to build the temples of Selinunte. This calcarenite bank about 2 km long still preserves columns and blocks left unfinished, offering a surprising glimpse into the life of antiquity.
